Reading Week continues! Tomorrow (Tuesday), dress up as your favorite book character (any school appropriate book).
We kicked off our GVES Super Kids Fun Run today with an awesome #Boosterthon kickoff. Register your student on MYBOOSTER.COM and enter all donations from friends and family to help our school. Funds raised this year will go toward improving the stage curtains and sound system in the gym as well as some additional playground enhancements. Grass Valley Superkids cheered on their classmates toward success on the SBAC. We held a schoolwide assembly on April 21st to encourage our 3rd and 4th grade students to "Hit the SBAC Out of the Park!"
PTA Family Game Night was a great success! Everyone enjoyed time together playing board games.
The annual BOGO Book Fair sponsored by GVES PTA starts today! Open daily from 8-3:30 and Monday night starting at 5:00 p.m. before Family Game Night.

Mrs. Sanchez was recognized as the Certified Staff of the month for February. One teacher noted that any time they need anything, she is always there. And she has the best attitude! Thank you Mrs. Sanchez for being a Super Grass Valley Staff Member!
Lizbeth DeLaTorre was recognized as the February classified Staff of the Month at GVES. She does an amazing job updating the bulletin board for class of the week for specials, works hard with the CLS class, and is always so kind. Thank you Ms. DeLaTorre for being a Super Grass Valley Staff Member!
