Monthly Recognition Assembly 12/9. Students receiving recognition will have parent information coming home about the assembly.

GVES Thankful Project
Hello families! We are having a contest for our GVES families to describe what they are thankful for. You may use video, art, writing, or music to describe what your family is most thankful for. All family members should participate. Make it fun and creative! We aren’t looking for perfect, we are looking for creative, fun, engaging and real!
All entries should be emailed or returned to school by Friday, Nov. 26, 2021.
You may email your entries to gvesfamengagement@hcsdnv.com.
The winning entry will be announced on Monday November 29, 2021, and will receive a $50 gift certificate to Winnemucca Inn Restaurant.

Grass Valley Super Kids celebrated our local First Responders on National First Responder Day.
The annual fall book fair sponsored by the PTA will be November 1st-5th from 8 a.m to 3:30 p.m. Students may also shop during their class library time and with parents during conferences.
Great News! Our new playground equipment will arrive next week! Thank you again for the great Fun Run to raise funds to buy this new equipment.
Dear Families – We are a few days away from wrapping up our Kids Heart Challenge, and I am so proud of our students for being active and kind! So far, our school has raised $1,797 in lifesaving donations to help special hearts! WOW!!! Great job! You know what else will save lives?! Learning Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke! You can learn BOTH by completing FINN’S MISSION! Visit our school’s KHC website or download the free App for Apple or Android to sign up and get started. When you complete Finn’s Mission, you will earn Finn’s Exclusive Lifesaver Award named after heart survivor, Finn! Thank you for helping our school and the American Heart Association save lives!
