Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we begin planning for the upcoming school year, we want to share some important information about our student placement process.
Our goal is to create well-balanced classrooms that support the academic, social, and emotional success of all students. While we understand that parents may have preferences based on previous experiences or recommendations, we are not able to guarantee specific teacher requests.
Our staff invests considerable time and thought into placing all students in environments where they will thrive. This includes evaluating each child’s learning style, academic needs, social dynamics, and input from current teachers. We believe this careful and comprehensive approach ensures the best possible outcomes for every student.
We appreciate your trust and support as we work to provide all students with a positive and enriching school experience.
Thank you,
Scott Meihack, Principal
Ashley Ramos, Vice Principal

Important Safety Reminder: Watch for Students Walking During Busy Times
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the holiday season and continue our daily routines, we want to remind everyone to prioritize the safety of our students during drop-off and pick-up times.
Please be extra cautious while driving through our parking lots and along nearby streets, especially during our busiest times. Many students walk to and from school or across parking areas, and their safety depends on all of us remaining vigilant.
Here are a few reminders to ensure everyone’s well-being:
Slow down: Drive at reduced speeds in and around the school campus.
Be alert: Avoid distractions such as cell phones while driving.
Yield to pedestrians: Stop for students crossing parking lots or streets.
Use designated areas: Follow the drop-off and pick-up procedures to minimize congestion.
Plan ahead: School begins at 8:20 every day.
Your cooperation is vital in preventing accidents and maintaining a safe environment for everyone. Thank you for helping us prioritize the safety of our students.

Through our fresh fruit and veggies grant, students will receive these samples this week.
